Liam Diamond

The practice is headed by Liam, the principal and practice owner. A graduate from Queen’s University Belfast in 2005, he qualified with Distinction in Practice of Dentistry. Liam was awarded the Ralph J Smith prize by RVH Belfast for high standards of Conservative Dentistry.

After qualification, he worked for a number of years within a busy NHS practice in Belfast. After gaining experience working privately in Omagh, he joined Lenny and Associates Dental Practice in 2009, becoming the principal dentist. Since then he has been central in practice development, expansion and rebranding to the present day Diamond Dental Clinic.

Liam takes the Clinical Lead within the practice and has a special interest in aesthetic dentistry; including smile design, veneers, tooth whitening and composite bonding. Having attended courses with some of the worlds best aesthetic dentists including Walter De Voto, Gerard Chiche and Konrad Meyenberg, Liam is building a reputation for clinical excellence.

Liam is a member the British Dental Association and Committee member of the Irish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry. He has previously worked for the Northern Ireland Medical and Dental Training Agency (NIMDTA) and is a Denplan certified dentist.

Conor Maguire Dentist Diamond Dental

Conor Maguire

Conor graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2001. Since graduating, he has completed postgraduate training, including an Implant Course and an Advance Surgical Course with Dr Ed Scher, London. Conor has a keen interest in implantology and minimally invasive techniques. He obtained his MFDS from the Royal College of Physicians of Glasgow in 2012.

Oonagh Mc Closkey

Oonagh graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2005. She then completed postgraduate training before gaining her MJDF RCS Eng in 2012.

A Dental Phobia Certified provider, Oonagh is passionate about the treatment and management of nervous, anxious and phobic patients, especially children and toddlers. She has also undergone training in relaxation techniques for dentistry including Acupuncture.

With a keen interest in Cosmetic Dentistry; whitening, veneers and facial rejuvenation (non surgical anti wrinkle treatment and fillers), Oonagh has completed Advanced Botox Courses and gained Advanced Fillers Certificates from the Bob Khanna Training Institute at Royal College of Surgeons, London.
A platinum provider in the UK and Ireland for Somnowell – anti snoring devices, her memberships include the British Dental Association (BDA) and The International Academy of Aesthetic Facial Academics (IAAFA). Oonagh also has published research on Oral Cancer in the Journal of Oral Oncology.

Mark Lenny Dentist Diamond Dental

Mark Lenny

Mark graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast. After working in Belfast for some time, he travelled to Australia to take up posts in Sydney, Perth and Darwin, where he worked in the Royal Flying Doctor Service. On his return to Northern Ireland in 1991, Mark became Principal Dentist at PM Lenny and Associates, Quality Family Dentistry, until 2009.

An accredited Denplan Dentist, he regularly attends post-graduate courses across Ireland, the UK and USA. Mark has lectured at the Anglo-European Facial conference in France, and was appointed as a training dentist in 2005 and a Dental Assessor in 2013 by the Northern Ireland Medical and Dental Training Agency (NIMTA).

Caoimhe Quinn

Caoimhe graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2012, she then completed the MFDS qualification in 2013 from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. She is committed to continue to develop her skills and knowledge; and with a keen interest in Oral Surgery, she is currently undertaking a postgraduate Diploma in Primary Care of Oral Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons in London.

Catherine Mclarnon Dentist Diamond Dental

Catherine McLarnon

Catherine joined Diamond Dental Clinic in 2010 as our Practice Hygienist. Her main role within the practice is to provide patients with preventive dental care through periodontal treatment. After undergoing her training at Queen’s University Belfast, Catherine received ‘The Tepe Communicator Award’. An enthusiastic and welcoming member of the team, Catherine enjoys educating patients on improving and maintaining good oral hygiene.
