Lesley Talbot - Nurse - Diamond Dental Clinic Cookstown

Lesley Talbot

Lesley has been working as a Dental Nurse since 2003 and has been Head Nurse in Diamond Dental Clinic since opening in 2009. Gaining her NEBDN qualification in 2005; followed by her Oral Health Education qualification in 2009, Lesley also has the role of Infection Control Lead within the practice.

Always cheerful and with her helpful approach, Lesley enjoys interacting with the public and helping patients, especially anxious and nervous patients grow in confidence with each visit to the practice.

Samantha Steele - Nurse - Diamond Dental Clinic Cookstown

Samantha Steele

Samantha has been working as a Dental Nurse since 1996 and joined the team at Diamond Dental Clinic in 2009. She gained her NEBDN qualification in 2004. As a local to the Cookstown area, Samantha has built up a strong affiliation with patients and is always a familiar welcoming face. As well as carrying out her daily nursing duties, Samantha also helps to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

Lisa Canavan - Receptionist - Diamond Dental Clinic Cookstown

Lisa Canavan

Lisa has been part of our team since doors opened in 2009. Originally a dental nurse within the practice, Lisa gained her NEBDN qualification in 2010. An upbeat, warm, welcoming character, Lisa has also shown her versatility within the team and now works as part of our reception staff. With both her experience on the desk and as a dental nurse, Lisa’s qualities enhance our excellent team.

Shauna Bates

Shauna joined Diamond Dental Clinic in November 2016. With many years of experience in the retail industry, she has developed great interpersonal skills, which she brings to the practice. Shauna recently Qualified for her Dental Nursing exam in January 2019 and has enjoyed pursuing her career with us ever since.

Sinéad Hughes

Sinéad joined Diamond Dental Clinic in October 2017.
After gaining her NEBDN qualification in 2012, she moved to London in 2013, where she worked for 4 years, furthering herself in dentistry, becoming a dual site practice manager.
Since moving back home, Sinéad worked at Oldtown Dental practice, before joining the team at Diamond Dental Clinic.
She has versatility, working both as a dental nurse and as a receptionist within the practice and is excited to further herself now within Diamond Dental Clinic.

Lois Glendinning

Lois Glendinning joined our  team in March 2019 at just 19 years old. Lois previously had experience working in the customer service industry for 4 years while studying at the local High School and decided to pursue Dental Nursing as a career after taking a break from education. As a result of working with the public in her day to day life, she developed a great knowledge of the local community and gained many skills and qualities along the way. After sitting her Dental Nursing exams during November 2019 and February 2020; amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, she is over the moon to have qualified at the end of February 2021.

Laura Hayden

Laura joined the team in April of 2019 and previously worked in the Education sector. Laura qualified from University with a degree in Educational studies and a level 3 in supporting individuals with autism. From this she has developed  great people skills and is always a great asset when it comes to young children visiting the practice as well as those with disabilities that require extra care. Laura sat her Dental Nursing exams during November 2019 and February 2020 amidst the Covid-19 pandemic and proudly qualified at the end of February of 2021.

Rhiannon Rodgers

Rhiannon joined our team in October 2021 and previously worked as a care assistant across Hospitals. From this experience Rhiannon has become well acquainted with working in a clinical setting as well as alongside patients and was able to bring her knowledge of quality of care into her new role here with us at Diamond Dental. Rhiannon will be starting her Dental Nursing course in September 2022 and is excited to apply the knowledge that she has already acquired as a trainee nurse.

 

Jenny-Lee McGlone

Jenny-Lee joined our team in November 2021 and is a local girl who has worked within different roles in the Customer service industry. From this experience Jenny-Lee has many skills to bring to our practice, from her brilliant rapport with the public as well as her stellar communication skills and empathy which will be greatly valued by patients through treatment. Alongside Rhiannon, Jenny-Lee will also be starting her Dental Nursing course in September 2022 and is looking forward to gaining her qualifications over the next 2 years.
